The purpose of this award is to carry out a project to strengthen Honduras’ ability to manage seized evidence in a secure, transparent, and standardized manner, reducing vulnerabilities that transnational criminal organizations exploit to evade prosecution and sustain illicit markets.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL, the Department, or we), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA or the Agency), is providing notice of the availability of up to $250,000 in grant funds for education and training programs to help the mining community identify, avoid, and prevent unsafe and unhealthy working conditions in and around mines.The program uses grant funds to establish and implement education and training programs, to create training materials and programs, or both. The United States Marine Highway Program (USMHP), codified at 46 U.S.C. 55601, was originally established by Section 1121 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 to reduce landside congestion through the designation of Marine Highway Routes. The Healthy Homes Production Program (HHP) is part of HUD"s overall Healthy Homes Initiative launched in 1999. The program takes a comprehensive approach to addressing multiple childhood diseases and injuries in the home by focusing on housing-related hazards in a coordinated fashion, rather than addressing a single hazard at a time. The program builds upon HUD"s successful Lead Hazard Control programs to expand the Department"s efforts to address a variety of high-priority environmental health and safety hazards. The overall purpose of the Older Adult Home Modification Program (OAHMP) is to assist experienced nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, and public housing authorities in undertaking comprehensive programs that make safety and functional home modification repairs and renovations to meet the needs of low-income seniors. The goal of the home modification program is to enable low-income elderly persons to remain in their homes through low-cost, low barrier, high impact home modifications to reduce older adults" risk of falling, improve general safety, increase accessibility, and to improve their functional abilities in their home. This will enable older adults to remain in their homes, that is, to "age in place," rather than move to nursing homes or other assisted care facilities.

The purpose of the Lead Hazard Reduction (LHR) Grant Program is to maximize the number of children under the age of six protected from lead poisoning by assisting states, Native American Tribes, cities, counties/parishes, or other units of local government in undertaking comprehensive programs to identify and control lead-based paint hazards in eligible privately-owned rental or owner-occupied housing, which must be target housing. In addition, there is Healthy Homes Supplemental funding available that is intended to enhance the lead-based paint hazard control activities by comprehensively identifying and addressing other housing hazards that affect occupant health in homes with lead-based paint hazards being treated under the grant.

The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Amman announces an open competition to implement a program titled Reel American: The Road to the Olympic Rings. Reel American is a 21-month public diplomacy film program designed to showcase American excellence in sports and build excitement ahead of the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. Beginning in October 2026 and continuing through June 2028, the program will host one film screening per month, showcasing classic American sports films that highlight the nation's rich athletic history and tradition of competitive excellence. The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Amman announces an open competition to design and implement Qissati ma3 America —a digital storytelling campaign that shares the firsthand experiences of Jordanian alumni of U.S. Department of State-funded exchange programs. Jordan is home to thousands of alumni of U.S. government funded exchange programs — professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, educators, athletes, and artists who have lived and studied in the United States. Despite the impact of these programs, alumni stories rarely reach the broader Jordanian public, limiting opportunities to build understanding of American society through firsthand experiences. This initiative will address the gap by transforming alumni perspectives of the United States into a public resource — giving every alumnus the opportunity to share their American story. 3 The recipient will produce a curated collection of at least 50 multimedia stories highlighting American life for Jordanian audiences: its classrooms, campuses, technology culture, sports, and creative industries.
