On behalf of the Office of the Secretary of War/Office of the Under Secretary of War (Acquisition and Sustainment) (OUSD(A&S)) the Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) seeks applications for sole-source awards from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and the Pentagon Memorial Fund.  

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) solicits cooperative agreement research applications to support a multidisciplinary program titled "Accelerating Product Excellence in Innovation and for Clinical Adoption" (APEx), that will facilitate advancement of promising strategies and products for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine (TE/RM). APEx will be composed of Resource Centers (RCs) and associated Interdisciplinary Translational Projects (ITPs) in the area of therapeutics (including adult stem cell-based treatments), sensors, and diagnostics. RCs will capitalize on their available clinical, scientific, industrial, regulatory and commercialization expertise, to deliver technical support, research capacity, administrative infrastructure and regulatory and commercialization support to the ITPs and guide them to complete pre-clinical studies toward initiation of clinical trials. During this funding cycle, APEx will complete validation, manufacturing, and preclinical testing of the most promising products, which may include, but are not limited to products for detecting or treating tissue damage caused by congenital defect, traumatic injury, or chronic disease. Products that support early detection of chronic pathologies, monitoring of validated biomarkers of health or disease, as well as approaches to reduce or prevent resulting damage, are especially encouraged. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the opportunity to apply for approximately $28.5 million in Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 funding. The Pilot Program for TOD Planning helps support FTA’s mission of improving public transportation for America’s communities by providing funding to local communities to integrate land use and transportation planning around a new fixed guideway or core capacity improvement project. Per statute, any comprehensive or site specific planning funded through the program must examine ways to improve economic development and ridership, foster multimodal connectivity and accessibility, improve transit access for pedestrian and bicycle traffic, engage the private sector, identify infrastructure needs, and enable mixed-use development near transit stations.

ECA announces an open competition for a cooperative agreement to develop and implement a program that will convene cultural ministers from key countries at an iconic location in the United States for high level discussions on cultural heritage and cultural property protection as part of the State Department’s programming to mark America’s 250th birthday. The implementing partner will work closely with ECA to develop the program’s one-to-two-day exchange agenda, including showcasing innovation and new technologies of the U.S. private sector and other American institutions in the cultural heritage field; strengthening cooperation in combatting art and antiquities trafficking; and using cultural heritage to amplify global narratives on America’s foundational values. The purpose of the NINDS Child Neurology Career Development Program (CNCDP) is to facilitate and support the research career development of physicians specialized in Child Neurology who have made a commitment to independent research careers. The CNCDP is a single national program, implemented by one or more PD/PIs, together with an advisory committee composed of basic and clinical investigators who have a strong record of funded research and successful training of physicianscientists. The CNCDP will generally provide three consecutive years of support to individuals to provide them with the knowledge, tools and research experience that will enable them to develop a significant research project funded by an individual career development award or research grant.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) requests applications for Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) Recruitment Sites (RS) to enroll people with Acute Kidney Injuries (AKI) and/or Chronic Kidney Diseases (CKD) into a longitudinal biopsy cohort study. Under-enrolled populations (e.g., AKI) and comprehensive phenotyping remain priorities. New opportunities include clinical biopsies with residual tissue for research, enhanced physiologic phenotyping, repeat biopsies, pediatric recruitment, and collection of healthy reference tissue. TPEC recipients - organizations with statewide or tribal reach - will place early childhood development (ECD) experts in local pediatric practices to deliver team-based care to young children and their families. The purpose of the Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems SEED Project: Scaling Effective Early Childhood Systems Development (ECCS SEED) is to address the root causes of chronic disease in early childhood by improving families" access to health care, screening kids early for physical and mental health needs, and connecting parents to services that enable them to provide for their children. The ECCS SEED Project will partner with states and communities to support evidence-based strategies that improve access to quality care for prenatal-to-age-5 (P-5) families and promote healthy child development and family well-being.

This 4-year program is supported with funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services" Minority HIV/AIDS Fund (MHAF) and is administered by the Health Resources & Services Administration"s HIV/AIDS Bureau.
