The goal of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative is to target the most significant environmental problems in the Great Lakes ecosystem by funding and implementing projects that address these problems. As part of this initiative, the two bird habitat joint ventures that operate in the Great Lakes watershed – the Upper Mississippi / Great Lakes Joint Venture and the Atlantic Coast Joint Venture – will work with the Office of Conservation Investment program in the Midwest and Northeast Regions of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to competitively fund partner projects for long-term habitat protection, restoration, or enhancement, to conserve habitats that support native Great Lakes fish and wildlife populations, particularly migratory birds. Purpose: The Rural Capacity Building program enhances the capacity and ability of rural housing development organizations, Community Development Corporations (CDCs), Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs), rural local governments, and Indian tribes (eligible beneficiaries) to carry out affordable housing and community development activities in rural areas for the benefit of low- and moderate-income families and persons. The purpose of the CPPM program (Assistance Listing 10.329) is to provide funding for integrated, multifunctional agricultural research, Extension, and education activities. The goals and objectives of CPPM are to address high-priority issues related to pests, including insects, nematodes, pathogens, weeds, and other pests, and their management using IPM approaches at the state, regional, and national levels. The CPPM program supports projects that will ensure sufficient food production increase producer profitability, and respond effectively to other pest management challenges with comprehensive IPM approaches. Priority is given to proposals that address management of invasive species. The CPPM program also addresses IPM challenges for existing pest concerns that can be addressed more effectively with new and emerging technologies. The outcomes of the CPPM program are IPM practices and strategies needed to maintain agricultural profitability.

Administration at the U.S. Department of Labor (Labor), is soliciting applications in support of the administration of the TRIO Training Program on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education (ED). The purpose of the Training Program for Federal TRIO Programs (Training Program) provides grants to train the staff and leadership personnel employed in, participating in, or preparing for employment in, projects funded under the Federal TRIO Programs, to improve project operation.

The Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR) high-throughput genotyping, sequencing and supporting statistical genetics services are designed to aid the identification of genes or genetic modifications that contribute to human health and disease or to enhance existing collections of well-phenotyped specimens in biorepositories by the addition of genotype or next-generation sequence data. The laboratory specializes in genomic services that cannot be efficiently carried out in individual investigator laboratories. CIDR provides the most up-to-date platforms, services and statistical genetic support. This is an NIH-wide initiative that is managed by NHGRI. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Clinical Research Extension Award supports research that extends the data collection, follow-up, and analysis of breast cancer clinical studies. The intent of this award mechanism is to increase the clinically relevant impact of breast cancer patient participation in clinical studies by addressing the knowledge lost due to early trial termination, limited patient follow-up, or suboptimal sample and/or data collection and analysis. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception.Distinctive Features:·        The research team must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates.·        This funding mechanism allows for a single Principal Investigator (PI), or two partnering PIs referred to as the Initiating PI and the Partnering PI. For the Partnering PI Option (PPIO), only the Initiating PI will submit a pre-application, but both PIs will need to submit at the full application stage. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Breakthrough Award mechanism supports promising research with high potential to lead to or make breakthroughs in breast cancer. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception. Applications must address the challenge in a way that can lead to a breakthrough and have major impact. The FY26 Breakthrough Award mechanism contains four different funding levels designed to support major (but not all) stages of research that will lead to clinical application. Each level specifies a distinct research scope. This program announcement discusses the Breakthrough Award Levels 1 and 2.Distinctive Features:·        This funding mechanism allows for applications submitted under Funding Level 1 or Funding Level 2. Funding Level 2 also includes a Population Science Studies option. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) Era of Hope Scholar Award supports individuals who are early in their careers with significant potential to effect meaningful change in breast cancer. As the Intent of the FY26 BCRP Era of Hope Scholar Award is to recognize creative and innovative individuals rather than projects, the award’s central features include the Principal Investigator’s (PI’s) demonstrated ability to go beyond conventional thinking in their field and the innovative and meaningful contributions that they can make toward ending breast cancer. The Era of Hope Scholar Award requires exceptionally talented scientists that are among “the best and the brightest” in their field(s), with demonstrated experience forming effective partnerships and collaborations and strong potential for future leadership in breast cancer research. All applications must address at least one of the FY26 BCRP overarching challenges or provide adequate justification for exception.Distinctive Features:·        The PI must commit a minimum of 25% level of time and effort during the period of performance to conduct breast cancer research under this award.·        The research team must include two or more breast cancer consumer advocates.

Description: RTL is designed to: (1) promote school readiness and academic achievement through the development and dissemination of accessible instructional programming for preschool and elementary school children and their families; (2) develop and disseminate programming and digital content containing Ready to Learn programming that is specially designed for nationwide distribution over public television stations’ digital broadcasting channels and the Internet; and (3) Produce educational outreach materials and programs that are designed to deepen and extend the effectiveness of the educational television and interactive. RTL accomplishes this by providing grants to support the creation of nationally distributed educational media content that meets the highest standards of educational quality. RTL television and digital media products focus on developmentally appropriate curriculum frameworks that align with widely accepted learning standards. 

The National Coastal Wetlands Conservation Grant Program supports the long‐term conservation of coastal wetland ecosystems for the benefit of coastal communities, fish and wildlife and their habitats, and the recreating public. The Program provides designated State and Territory agencies with cost sharing awards for projects that protect and restore valuable coastal wetland resources. Projects may include the acquisition of real property interests in a coastal wetland ecosystem and the restoration, enhancement, or management of coastal wetlands.Coastal wetlands are valued because they protect against flooding, help maintain water quality, and provide habitats for fish and wildlife. Coastal environments are also important economically, generating billions of dollars annually through recreational and commercial fishing, boating, and tourism.The Program is co-administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Coastal Program and the Office of Conservation Investment. Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) provides project-based funding for organizations in the areas of Arts Education, Challenge America, Dance, Design & Our Town, Folk & Traditional Arts, Literary Arts, Local Arts Agencies, Museums, Music, Opera, Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works, Theater & Musical Theater, and Visual and Media Arts. Under the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGB Act), the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is accepting applications for the Pool Safely Grant Program (PSGP). This program aims to prevent drowning and drain entrapments of children in pools and spas by providing funding to state and local governments. The funding supports drowning prevention education and enforcement of pool safety regulations. CPSC will determine, in its sole discretion, whether an applicant has met the eligibility requirements under the VGB Act for a PSGP funding grant.

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to support new biomedical, behavioral, and social science investigators who are in the early stages of establishing independent careers in tobacco regulatory research. The R03 grant mechanism supports different types of projects, including pilot and feasibility studies, secondary analysis of existing data, small, self-contained research projects, development of research methodology, and development of new research technology. Applicants are encouraged to conduct projects that ultimately have the potential to inform regulations on tobacco product manufacturing, distribution, and marketing. Research projects must address one or more High-Priority Research Topic(s) related to the regulatory authority of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) as mandated by the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (FSPTCA), Public Law 111-31. The awards under this NOFO will be administered by NIH using funds made available through FDA CTP and the FSPTCA. Research results from this NOFO are expected to generate findings and data directly relevant to informing the FDA's regulation of the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of tobacco products to protect public health.

Multistate Conservation Grants (MSCG) are authorized under 16 U.S.C. 669h-2 and 16 U.S.C. 777m, providing funding for wildlife restoration and sport fish restoration projects and recruitment, retention and reactivation (R3) projects that address regional or national priority needs of State fish and wildlife agencies and their partners that are beyond the scale, scope, and capabilities of a single State. The priority needs, also known as Strategic Priorities, are identified annually by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) with input from State fish and wildlife agencies and their partners. Recipients awarded Traditional Multistate Conservation Grants (T-MSCG) may use the funds for wildlife or sport fish projects involving research, restoration, conservation and management of wild birds, wild mammals, sport fish, and their habitats. These funds may also be used for projects providing for public use and benefit from these resources, including hunter safety and education, aquatic education, and recruitment, retention and reactivation (R3) projects and other purposes consistent with the enabling legislation. Recipients awarded R3 Multistate Conservation Grants (R3-MSCG) may use the funds for hunting and target shooting R3 projects that promote a national hunting and target shooting recruitment program, including related communication and outreach activities. Multistate Conservation Grants are awarded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and the FWS and AFWA work cooperatively to manage the grant program.
