The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Harare, through its Public Diplomacy Section, announces and open competition to implement a program to provide administrative and programmatic support to the American Corner Gweru. The American Corner Gweru is a public space run jointly by the U.S. Embassy and Gweru Memorial Public Library.  The program aims to find a qualified organization to manage and implement public diplomacy activities at this location.  All proposals must include an American cultural component and show a clear connection to American experts, organizations, or institutions.  The selected partner will organize interactive activities focused on technology access, entrepreneurship training, innovation events, sports activities, and cultural programs that reflect American values and support U.S. foreign policy goals in Zimbabwe.  The purpose of this funding is to strengthen the Corner’s effectiveness by creating programs that help people better understand American perspectives, policies, and society. Project activities must take place in Zimbabwe and be directed at Zimbabwean audiences/participants. The U.S. Department of State’s Consulate General Ho Chi Minh City announces an open competition to implement a program to combat cyber scams.Transnational organized crime in Southeast Asia is increasing at an unprecedented pace. The region has witnessed the proliferation of industrial-scale cyber fraud and scam operations, driven by sophisticated transnational criminal syndicates and networks of human traffickers. These criminal enterprises have expanded to inaccessible border areas, particularly in the Mekong region, and have become global leaders in cyber-enabled and cryptocurrency investment fraud—defrauding Americans of over $10 billion in 2024 alone.Vietnam stands at a critical inflection point where rapid digital transformation and adoption meet these sophisticated transnational cybercrimes. Economic losses in Vietnam from cyber-enabled scams have reached billions of dollars. Thousands of Vietnamese, primarily aged 18-35, have been trafficked to neighboring countries and forced to work in scam operations against their will, often targeting Americans. The aim of the PAC program is to support empirically grounded, theoretically engaged and methodologically sophisticated research in a wide range of topic areas related to human perceptual, motor, and cognitive processes and their interactions. The PAC program welcomes a wide range of perspectives and a variety of methodologies (including computational modeling if the goal is to expand explanatory theories of human perception, action, or cognition). PAC strongly encourages proposals that examine human behavior in realistic (or real-world) scenarios and that include varied subject population. It is expected that knowledge gained from PAC-supported projects will have a clear and direct path towards benefitting society. PAC is open to co-review of proposals submitted to other programs both within the Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences Directorate and across other directorates. Note: Proposals may be returned without review if the primary goal of the research is to understand (1) structure/function mappings between PAC processes and neural activity; (2) clinical populations per se; or (3) behavior of non-human animals without a clear and direct impact on our understanding of human perception, action or cognition. Synopsis of Program: Science and Technology Studies (STS) is an interdisciplinary field that investigates the conceptual foundations, historical developments and social contexts of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), including medical science. The STS program supports proposals across a broad spectrum of research that uses historical, philosophical and social scientific methods to investigate STEM theory and practice. STS research may be empirical or conceptual; specifically, it may focus on the intellectual, material or social facets of STEM. Through the Alzheimers Disease Program Initiative (ADPI), ACL seeks to enhance workforce capacity in the National Aging Network with the inclusion of dementia-capable Community Health Workers (CHWs). CHWs work to improve conditions for health in communities with the highest rates of disease, disability, and death. ADPI supports dementia-capable home and community-based services for people living with dementia and their caregivers. As a result of this initiative, ACL seeks to strengthen relationships with rural and underserved communities and address barriers to care for people living with dementia and their caregivers.

To carry out Section 216 of the Older Americans Act, ACL will award one cooperative agreement to administer the National Resource Center on Women and Retirement (NRCWR). The goal of NRCWR is to provide tools that promote financial literacy and help identify and prevent financial exploitation. The Grantee will be responsible for developing targeted outreach strategies, developing partnerships and collaborations, and providing technical assistance to State agencies and other public and non-profit organizations. The Grantee will also disseminate a summary of outreach activities annually including user-friendly consumer information and public educational materials.

The primary aim of the Mathematical Sciences Infrastructure Program is to foster the continuing health of the mathematical sciences research community as a whole. In addition,the program complements the Workforce Program in the Mathematical Sciences in its goal to increase the number of well-prepared U.S. based individuals who successfully pursue careers in the mathematical sciences and in other professions in which expertise in the mathematical sciences plays an increasingly important role. The DMS Infrastructure program invites projects that support core research in the mathematical sciences, including: 1) novel projects supporting research infrastructure across the mathematical sciences community; 2) training projects complementing the Workforce Program, and 3) conference, workshop, and travel support requests that include cross-disciplinary activities or have an impact at the national scale. Proposals under this solicitation submitted to DMS Infrastructure must show engagement in developing or enhancing the mathematical sciences research infrastructure in the U.S., including, but not limited to, broadening participation activities; professional development training; or involvement of students and early career researchers. Science of Learning and Augmented Intelligence (SL) supports potentially transformative research that develops basic theoretical insights and fundamental knowledge about principles, processes and mechanisms of learning, and about augmented intelligence — how human cognitive function can be augmented through interactions with others or with technology, or through variations in context. The program supportsresearch addressing learning in individuals and in groups, across a wide range of domains at one or more levels of analysis, including molecular and cellular mechanisms; brain systems; cognitive, affective and behavioral processes; and social and cultural influences. The program also supports research on augmented intelligence that clearly articulates principled ways in which human approaches to learning and related processes, such as in design, complex decision-making and problem-solving, can be improved through interactions with others or through the use of artificial intelligence in technology. These could include ways of using knowledge about human functioning to improve the design of collaborative technologies that have the capacity to learn to adapt to humans. The 9/11 Memorial Act Grant Program provides competitive grants for the continued operation, security, and maintenance of the on-site memorials of the events and victims of the September 11, 2001. For the purposes of this grant, these on-site memorials are referred to as "covered memorials". A "covered memorial" is defined as a memorial located in the United States established to commemorate the events of, and honor the victims of, the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, at the sites of the attacks. In addition, covered memorials must offer free admission to active and retired members of the military, registered first responders to the 9/11 attacks, and family members of victims of the attacks as well as offer free admission hours to the general public at least once per week.

The purpose of the Promise Neighborhoods program is to significantly improve the academic and developmental outcomes of children and youth living in the most distressed communities of the United States, including ensuring school readiness, high school graduation, and access to a community-based continuum of high-quality services. The program serves neighborhoods with high concentrations of individuals with low incomes; multiple signs of distress, which may include high rates of poverty, childhood obesity, academic challenges, and juvenile delinquency, adjudication, or incarceration; and adverse childhood experiences; and also serves schools implementing comprehensive support and improvement activities or targeted support and improvement activities under section 1111(d) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended (ESEA). Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) Lifestyle and Applied Health Research Award supports clinical research and/or clinical trials using a combination of scientific disciplines including occupational science, psychology, psychometrics, biostatistics and epidemiology, surveillance, implementation science, and population health. Applications must address and provide a solution to one of the congressionally directed FY26 PRMRP topic areas and one of the FY26 PRMRP strategic goals.Distinctive Features: This funding opportunity requires patient advocate participation. The patient advocate will be a person living with, or a family member or caretaker of someone with, a disease or condition addressed in one of the congressionally directed FY26 PRMRP topic areas. Animal research is not allowed.Funding Details: The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) expects to allot roughly $16.8M to fund approximately four Lifestyle and Applied Health Research Award applications with total cost caps of $4.2M per award. This opportunity supports the provision of services to crime victims in American Indian/Alaska Native communities through a discretionary administrative formula program funded under a set-aside designated by law from the Crime Victims Fund. The program is not competitive and is open only to federally recognized Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act Regional Corporations, and their authorized designees. Funding may be used to support a Tribe's victim services and is available for a range of expenses. Tribes can also use Tribal Victim Services Set-Aside grants for construction or for refurbishing, renovating, or improving structures for victim services office space, shelter for victims, and related purposes.

Recipients must use AEI funds to "develop, implement, carry out, or coordinate programs or activities designed to obtain enforcement of the rights granted by [the Act] or by State or local laws that provide rights and remedies for alleged discriminatory housing practices that are substantially equivalent to the rights and remedies provided in [the Act]..." 42 USC § 3616a(a); 24 CFR § 125.201.

The program funds organizations to build capacity to engage in fair housing enforcement activities and fair housing enforcement related activities, and engage in such activities for the purpose of supporting the continued development or implementation of initiatives which enforce the rights granted under the Fair Housing Act, particularly in those areas of the country which are currently underserved by fair housing enforcement organizations as well as those areas where large concentrations of people with protected characteristics exist.
