The purpose of the National Technical Assistance Center (NTAC) on Kinship and Grandfamilies is to increase the services provided to grandfamilies and kinship families through the National Aging Services Network. This center will increase the National Aging Services Network capacity and effectiveness to support the health and well-being of members of grandfamilies and kinship families, including caregivers, children, and their parents. NTAC will catalyze implementation of the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers by scaling replicable models proven to support grandfamilies and kinship families in their caregiving roles. The NTAC will do this through collaboration with subject matter experts, provision of technical assistance, resources and training across systems, fostering peer-to-peer learning, and planning responses to emergencies and disasters.

U.S. Embassy Jerusalem’s Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) announces an open competition to implement projects that advance U.S. economic, commercial, and security interests in Israel. This Annual Program Statement (APS) outlines strategic goals, expected outcomes, target audiences, eligibility criteria, and application guidelines for cooperative agreements ranging from $25,000 to $250,000, with a project duration of up to 12 months. Project proposals must address at least one of the following goals: 1.     Advance U.S. economic interests and technological leadership 2.     Counter malign influence and promote free speech 3.     Promote President Trump’s 20-point Peace Plan 4.     Advance U.S. interests through American arts and culture 5.     Engage alumni networks to advance U.S. interests In addition to aligning with one of the strategic goals, applicants should clearly explain how they advance American leadership and excellence and how the projects deliver measurable results. Critical minerals and materials (CMM) are the building blocks for technologies foundational to U.S. energy dominance, national security, and industrial competitiveness. To build a secure domestic supply of CMMs, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) aims to support collaborative industry partnerships to prototype and pilot innovative processing technologies that are currently only proven at the bench scale to address CMM challenges in high impact areas. The CMM Accelerator program will advance these mid-stage innovations through validation, benchmarking, access to national lab test beds, testing in industry relevant environments, technoeconomic analysis, and life-cycle assessment. The purpose of the Treatment, Recovery and Workforce Support program is to support individuals in substance use disorder (SUD) or co-occurring disorder (COD) treatment and recovery to live independently and participate in the workforce.

Through the Small Dollar Loan Program (SDL Program), the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) awards grants to Certified CDFIs to establish and expand small dollar loan programs and provide alternatives to high-cost small dollar loans. Certified CDFIs will use award funds to help unbanked and underbanked populations build credit, access affordable capital, and allow greater access into the mainstream financial system. 

The NSF Trailblazer Engineering Impact Award (TRAILBLAZER) program supports individual investigators who propose novel research projects with the potential to innovatively and creatively address new areas of fundamental or applied research, catalyze development of new industries or capabilities that increase the leadership position for the country, and/or make significant progress towards addressing a national need or grand challenge, particularly in current priority areas including, but not limited to, artificial intelligence (AI), bioengineering, quantum engineering, robotics, and nuclear engineering. TRAILBLAZER will support engineers and scientists who leverage their distinctive track record of innovation and creativity to pursue new research directions that are distinct from their previous or current research areas. RFAP is designed to provide financial assistance to qualifying institutions for the construction, alteration, acquisition, modernization, renovation, or remodeling of agricultural research facilities to conduct research in the fields of food and agricultural sciences (as defined in 7 U.S.C. 3103, see Appendix III for definition).

The Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) strengthens the nation's capacity to prevent, prepare for, protect against, and respond to acts of terrorism and other catastrophic events through the following three components: the State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSP), the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Operation Stonegarden (OPSG). SHSP supports the implementation of risk-driven, capabilities-based State Homeland Security Strategies to address capability targets. UASI focuses on high-risk Urban Area efforts to address their unique security needs. Concurrently, the NSGP will integrate the preparedness activities of nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a terrorist or other extremist attack with broader state and local preparedness efforts.

The Public Diplomacy Section at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi announces an opportunity to implement the U.S. Speaker and Specialist Program in India. The program will advance U.S. strategic, economic, and security interests by connecting American experts with priority Indian audiences and highlighting U.S. leadership in areas critical to security, innovation, technological competitiveness, and economic growth. The Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 Intercity Passenger Rail (IPR) – Amtrak program is one of four grant programs that constitute DHS/FEMA’s focus on transportation infrastructure security activities. These grant programs are part of a comprehensive set of measures authorized by Congress and implemented by DHS to help strengthen the Nation’s critical infrastructure against potential terrorist attacks. The IPR provides funds to Amtrak to protect critical surface transportation infrastructure and the traveling public from acts of terrorism.

Through the Bank Enterprise Award Program (BEA Program), the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) supports FDIC-insured financial institutions around the country that are dedicated to financing and supporting community and economic development activities. The BEA Program complements the community development activities of insured depository institutions (i.e., banks and thrifts) by providing monetary awards for increasing investments in CDFIs and for increasing qualified lending, investment, and service activities within economically distressed communities. Providing BEA Program awards for increasing community development activities leverages the CDFI Fund’s dollars and puts more capital to work in distressed communities throughout the nation.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), Office of Global Programs, International Food Assistance Division requests input from stakeholder to inform its future non-emergency Title II Food for Peace programming. The purpose of the RCDG program, under assistance listing number 10.771, is to enable nonprofit institutions to establish and operate centers for rural cooperative development (Center). The CIG program stimulates the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies in conjunction with agricultural production. CIG projects are expected to lead to the transfer of conservation technologies, management systems, and innovative approaches (such as market-based systems) to agricultural producers through the development of technical manuals, guides, and for practical instruction for the private sector.   Applications will be accepted from all non-Federal entities and individuals based in the United States (see Section B Eligibility). The Rural Hospital Provider Assistance Program provides direct financial assistance to eligible rural hospitals facing structural payment disadvantages for the maintenance of health care providers with the goal of maintaining essential health care services and preventing avoidable closures. Eligible rural hospitals must have no more than 50 acute care inpatient beds and an established Medicare wage index value below 0.90.

The UIE program (ALN 10.333) supports research, education, and extension activities through competitive grants designed to address key production and market challenges of local, regional, and national importance. The authorization covers the full food value chain, including production, harvesting, transportation, aggregation, packaging, distribution, and market development. Grants awarded under this announcement are to provide disaster reimbursement and assistance funds to those State Units on Aging (SUAs), and federally recognized Tribal Organizations who are currently receiving a grant under Title VI of the Older Americans Act (OAA), as amended. Total funding available for disaster assistance is subject to the availability of funds appropriated. The estimated number of awards is seven with a one year project period. Funds may only be used in those areas designated in the Major Disaster Declaration issued by the President of the United States under the Robert T. Stafford Relief and emergency Assistance Act. Funds typically are for the following OAA Title III types of gap-filling services: outreach, information and assistance, counseling, case management, advocacy on behalf of older persons, additional food and meals, supplies, damaged senior center equipment replacement, staff overtime, emergency medications, transportation and other such immediate needs. OAA funds may be sed for permissible expenses incurred which are not or cannot be paid for through other disaster funding resources. Per the Lifespan Respite Care Act, the purpose of the National Lifespan Respite Resource Center is to: (1) maintain a national database on lifespan respite care;(2) provide training and technical assistance to State,community, and nonprofit respite care programs; and(3) provide information, referral, and educational programsto the public on lifespan respite care.

The purpose of this program is to: promote full integration and collaboration in clinical practice between physical and behavioral health care; support the improvement of integrated care models for physical and behavioral health care to improve overall wellness and physical health status; promote the implementation and improvement of bidirectional integrated care services, including evidence-based or evidence-informed screening, assessment, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and recovery services for mental and substance use disorders, and co-occurring physical health conditions and chronic diseases.

The purpose of the FR-CARA program is to train first responders and communities in administering and distributing opioid overdose reversal medications (OORM).
